The stats are in...

Addisyn had her 6 month check up this morning with Dr. Elliot. We love him and of course his nurse, Joyce. Excited to post about her stats and updates :)

Addi's stats:

Weight: 15.10 lbs. (35th percentile)
Height: 25 3/4" (35th percentile)
Her head is proportionate with her body measuring at 16 1/2"

What're we eating?

5 - 6 oz. bottles, still on Gentlease formula
2 T of oatmeal in the morning (we're not a big fan of this yet)
3.5 oz. of fruit (peaches, apricots, or pears) at lunch time
3.5 oz. of vegetables (sweet potatoes, green beans) We LOVE sweet potatoes.

We sleep 11-12 hours at night and take about 2 - 1 hr. naps during the day.

Doctor said that Addisyn "sits up like a 7-8 month old". Addisyn is a little girl, but she is growing, and growing consistently and that's perfect. :) Doc was very happy with her and is a big fan he said.

She is still in 3 mo. clothing and can wear some 3-6 mos.  Her favorite toys are her laughing buddy, kitchen utensils, and anything mommy touches. She loves watching mommy get ready in the morning and playing with toys. She plays all day at Tammy's and has lots of friends. Mommy cuddles her in the evening, plays, takes a bath, and we're going to start reading together every night. Bed time is around 7:15-7:30.

Love this little munchkin more than any word could describe. So thankful God chose me to be her mommy.

Yummy sweet potatoes.

First ride in a grocery cart w/out the car seat.

Scrunchy face. (Cousin Aubrey did this, too)

Someone got into mommy's purse.

Legs straight out. Good balance sweet girl.

Happy 6 months and Happy 4th of July

Addisyn turned the big 6 MONTHS on July 4th. And, it was her first 4th of July, of course. We started out with brunch at Esperanza's with Ya-Ya, Rusty and daddy. This was also her first time in the high chair, but I didn't get a picture! :( I forgot her formula so Rusty kindly went to get some. She did so good even though I know she was hungry. (It wasn't far past her time to eat). After Esperanza's we went to the stockyards just to check out anything for Addisyn. It was crowded because of the Willy Nelson concert they had going on, so we didn't stay long. Addisyn and I headed home after the stockyards because we had a pool party going on at our house. Jamie's family, my family, and a few family friends joined us to celebrate the 4th! It was a lot of fun. Addi played in the pool, had some pears and enjoyed her strawberry. ALL the babies did SO good during the fireworks. Aubrey, Addi, and Kendyl went down for bed before the 'works started (or maybe when they just started) and none of them moved an inch during the pops and booms! Bailey fell asleep outside on her momma and I don't think she had a problem either. We were some very proud momma's!

Stay tuned for the next post of Addi's 6 month stats! We go to the doctor this week.

All of Jamie's nieces! Lauren, Addi, Kendyl, Aubrey

Good morning cousin!

Just pictures...

Just some pictures of Addisyn before the big post :)

Sitting up so well now!

First time trying sweet potatoes! She loves them.

She's so stinkin' cute.

Really intrigued by granddad playing the guitar.

Another "good morning" picture

She loves Lucy!

She wanted those chopsticks SO bad!
(Don't worry, I had a hold of them)

Cruz Layne turned ONE

Addisyn went to her first birthday party for her cousin Cruz Layne! He turned the big ONE! I love my Godson. He is such a handsome boy, and so darn happy! Love you Cruz Layne! We had so much fun, didn't capture enough pictures!

Mr. Cruz and Miss Addi

Drive in, and sit up

Addi, Kyle, Ya-Ya, Rusty, and I went to see "Now You See Me" at the drive in movies! Addi did great and had a blast. In fact, we all had a blast.

Also, as you will see in the pictures, Addi can sit up now! At first, she would lean forward quite a bit, but she hardly ever fell forward. I was so happy at how fast she picked it up! I told myself that I would work on her to sit up before we go to the lake so she could sit up and play with Aubrey. Well, she did it! She is SO stinkin' smart.

Addisyn was sick for about a week. It was a virus, and they didn't know what kind or anything. Poor thing felt awful but was still trying to be happy. Took a few days after being fever free for her to be her complete self again. Broke my heart to see her like this. I just wanted to take the pain/fever/sickness feeling away from her! All I could do was give medicine and cuddle!

Couldn't keep her eyes off the nurse and what she was doing.
